Sheikh

The cleaned and colored version of my Dusty lineart. Looking at it, I realized it's pretty similar to "Quonset Evening," but I still like how it came out. It's the end of a long trek, and Dusty's still smiling: he'd rather be in the desert than anywhere else.

The title is, of course, a pun of sorts. As well as referring to a leader of a tribe, usually in the desert, the term "sheikh" entered American slang in the 1920s as a term for a handsome, desirable man. I don't have to explain that one.
