Harley Quinn Reads Twilight

When Harley Quinn believes you're too dependent, it's time to rethink your life.

This was born out of a discussion on Anti-Shurtugal, where I found myself comparing the Joker/Harley Quinn relationship dynamic with the Edward/Bella relationship dynamic. I wound up concluding, much to my own surprise, that both involve highly codependent women that define themselves by the men they worship, and who are effectively controlled by those men. The major difference is that J/HQ is acknowledged by its fans as being a pretty unhealthy relationship (even if it works for the participants), while E/B is generating loads of squealing fangirls around the world.

Would Harley Quinn dislike Twilight? I think she would. She's crazy, not stupid, and doesn't support other girls being doormats even if she is one herself. Plus, it's an opportunity for a cheap gag.
