Christmas present for ~Jakeblacksgirl. Merry Christmas, you mad thing! :hug:

She requested a picture of her slightly unhinged thief character Cheshire, whose theme should be pretty obvious from this picture and who is, if possible, even more dedicated to the idea that costumed crime should be fun than his cousin Queen. For this, I drew inspiration from several photographs of the Victorian urban legend Spring-heeled Jack--supposedly a monster, though sometimes also shown as a gentleman, who jumped across rooftops and was said to steal and attack at his whim. I used a photograph of the Jack figure as a pose reference; the idea of crouching on the edge of the roof smirking was just so Cheshire I couldn't resist.

Thank you! That vest was a bit of a pain; I'm never happy wrinkling patterned cloth. (That's what she said?)
